How do I convert TIFF to PDF for sharing / printing?

Is the PDF searchable (selectable text)?

How big will the PDF file be?

Depends on the TIFF. A 10-page DOCX with embedded fonts produces a 200-400 KB PDF. A 10-image JPG batch at full resolution produces a 5-20 MB PDF. The advanced options expose a "compress images in PDF" toggle that recompresses embedded images at JPG quality-85.
Is my TIFF file private during PDF conversion?

Will the PDF pass print-shop preflight (300 DPI, CMYK)?

Defaults are RGB / 72 DPI (screen-optimized). For commercial print, switch the advanced options to CMYK / 300 DPI and the converter re-renders text at print resolution and converts embedded images to CMYK colorspace.
Does the converter work with scanned TIFF images?
