How long does JPG to DOC OCR take?

It depends on the size and length of the file. Small documents and images are usually ready quickly. Long videos take the longest, because most video conversions re-encode every frame. JPG is the JPEG standard from 1992, served under the .jpg, .jpeg and .jfif extensions alike, and after three decades it is still the format most cameras and most websites use for photographs.
Is my JPG private during OCR conversion?

Yes. Uploaded JPG files are processed on our own conversion servers, no person reviews them, and they are never shared. The upload and the converted DOC are both deleted automatically about 24 hours after the conversion, which leaves time to download the result. See /privacy/ for the full policy.
Will the DOC be searchable and selectable?

Yes — the whole point of converting JPG to an editable DOC is that the output is real text, not an image: you can search it, select and copy it, spell-check it, and edit it freely. That is the difference between this and simply viewing the JPG as a picture.
